Unashamed

of the Gospel

For I am not ashamed of the gospel, for it is the power of God for salvation to everyone who believes, to the Jew first and also to the Greek.

Romans 1:16 (ESV)

Billy Graham Videos

(Revised and updated: 01/20/2024)

Whether for our own sake as Christians or to present to a seeker, videos of the greatest evangelist of the 20th century are a wonderful resource.  Maybe you are a seeker who stumbled on this page.  If so, I would strongly recommend viewing the first video, though all are good.  All present the gospel but all are different and worth watching.

If you have a favorite Billy Graham video, send your recommendation(s) along with any comments you may have.

Who is Jesus?

This is from 1971, and there are a number of references which only the older set may recognize.  But this is a great, great sermon.  And naturally it contains the gospel message.  That message is not fully presented until towards the end of the video.  The first part focuses on the person of Jesus, asking and answering two major questions.  Who did Jesus say that he was?  And was Jesus who he said he was?

John 3:16

This video dates back over 60 years, yet the message is just as relevant today as it was back then.  This is hardly surprising - and this is mentioned in the video - since what God has to say to us does not change over time.  The Bible doesn't change and God doesn't change.  Which is why it is so distressing that today even some who claim to be Christian believe that some of the Bible "no longer applies."  The Bible still applies and this video helps bring home that message.

Three Things You Cannot Do Without

There are lots of things that we have, but that we can do without.  Here are three things we cannot do without:

  1. Without the shedding of blood (Christ's) there is no forgiveness of sins.

  2. Without faith, we cannot please God.

  3. Without Christ, we can do nothing.

While this video does present the gospel, it seems more directed to those who are Christians, or at least think they are.  I especially like the comparison of actual fruit to artificial fruit.  Artificial may look great, but contains no substance or nourishment.  Don't be an artificial Christian.
